XI Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum (June 8-10, 2007)
The XI Forum took place at "LenExpo", the largest exhibition complex in Saint Petersburg.

It was organized by the "Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum" Organizing Committee, with the support of the Administration of Saint Petersburg and under the direction of the Ministry of Economic Growth and Trade of the Russian Federation.

One of the main aims of the Forum is to facilitate international cooperation between business and political leaders and academic experts from the world community and to discuss and resolve the problems of global economic growth.

4 plenary sessions and 16 roundtable conferences were held at the Forum, more than 70 presentations were made, 4 investment projects were selected. Leading Russian and foreign economic experts shared their specialist opinions on the most contemporary trends of global economics during the plenary sessions and various themed round tables.

Forum History:
The first Petersburg International Economic Forum was held on the 18-20th of June in 1997 accordance to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation. Since 1998 Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum becomes an annual event.
