	Let me begin by thanking Rimbunan Hijau Group for giving me this opportunity to contribute a few words in conjunction with the celebration of its 30th Anniversary Pearl Jubilee. The year 2006 is significant as we enter into the first year of the Ninth Malaysia Plan, which lays the foundations for what I call the National Mission, namely to achieve the objectives of Vision 2020. Deliberate measures have been taken to make the economy more diversified and broad-based to ensure sustainable growth. We are actively developing Malaysia as a knowledge-based economy, driven by human capital, innovation & ideas. We are working to srengthen national unity and bring about a better distribution of income and wealth. We are working to provide a better quality of life for the Malaysian people. The quest to achieve developed nation status demands all Malaysians give their unwavery commitments and support. In this regard, the private sector must continue to play its role as the key driver of economic growth while the government continues to adopt policies supportive of greater growth. The National Mission is our mission. Our destiny is in our hands and it is incumbent upon us to shape our own success. let us not be swayed by distractions along the way. With determination, conviction & clear focus, God willing, we will reach our destination. Rimbunan Hijau has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the national economy. Rimbunan Hijau Group Endeavour to strategise agriculture and forestry augurs well with the government's effort to boost the agriculture and agro-based sector as the third engines of growth. Her efforts in diversifying the business to industries such as manufacturing, plantation, reforestration, media, information technology, property, hospitality and education is highly commendable. I wish Rimbunan Hijau Group continuing success in the future.
